If you’re new to the HPP, these are the strategies and frameworks that separate the 1% from the .01%.

If you’re into: health & fitness, personal finance & investing, business growth hacks, and how to level up all areas of your life, the High Performance Playbook is for you.

If you enjoy the content and get some value from it, please share this link with a few friends and help me spread the word! There’s no better compliment than a referral.

A reader recently told me:

“The content is great… but I need more than ideas. I need implementation.”

If you’ve ever felt the same - like you don’t just want insights, but strategic execution, accountability, and real-world feedback tailored to your business or personal growth - I'm opening a limited number of private coaching spots.

This isn’t a course. It’s not a mastermind. It’s direct, bi-weekly collaboration focused on helping you architect the systems, leadership, and performance you need to scale.

It’s designed for founders, leaders, and operators who are already playing big, and want to play even smarter and really move the needle.

If that’s you, grab a 30-min spot on my calendar to explore what working together could look like.

Now, onto this week’s Playbook.

Mindset & Psychology

Most people don’t trust business coaches. “Life coaches” invoke even less trust.

I get it.

They’ve seen the same story too many times.

Someone takes a course, slaps “coach” in their bio, and starts giving advice they’ve never applied in real life.

And honestly?

They’re right to be skeptical…

When I had my first big exit, I didn’t suddenly feel “qualified” to coach anyone, just because I had accomplished something that 99.9% of men on the planet will never achieve.

What I felt was the weight of how much I had to learn to get there, and how many blind spots I still had on the other side.

That’s why I’ve always looked to mentors and coaches. Real ones; with receipts.

Not the loudest ones.

The ones with real-world wins and real-world scars.

I’m so grateful for mine. They molded me. Motivated me. And taught me where the land mines were (although I still stepped on a few because I’m stubborn).

The problem today is that the coaching industry rewards optics over outcomes.

You can rent a Lamborghini, post “client wins,” and never have made a single dollar outside of selling advice.

So let me offer a simple filter. One you can use when evaluating who to learn from:

1. Ask what they’ve built.

Have they built, run, or exited a real business?

If not, they’re probably repeating secondhand advice.

2. Look for proof.

Can they point to real wins, either in their own career or with clients?

Screenshots are nice. Track records and receipts are better.

3. Pay attention to what they ask, not just what they say.

Great coaches don’t just give answers. They ask better questions.

If you’re building something meaningful, the right coach can compress years into months.

They can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars in mistakes.

They can call out your blind spots. They can make sure your strategy matches your ambition.

But choose wrong and you’ll waste time, money, and momentum.

The internet made it easy to look like a qualified “life coach.”

But results still speak louder than reels.

Don’t follow someone who just looks the part. Follow someone who’s done the work.

Health & Fitness + Longevity

Relying on motivation never helped anyone achieve their goals… Try this instead:

Ever notice how motivation disappears the moment life gets hard?

You wake up fired up to crush your workout…

Until a deadline hits. Or your kid’s sick. Or you just don’t feel like it.

Here’s the truth no one tells you:

Motivation is unreliable. Discipline and systems are what actually move the needle.

The people who look like they’re “always motivated” aren’t relying on motivation to strike them at the perfect time.

They’ve built routines, environments, and triggers that make showing up automatic, even when they don’t feel like it.

Discipline isn’t about willpower either.

It’s about designing your day so success is the default.

Personally, I do not miss workouts. Why? Because it’s in my schedule and part of my day, just like brushing my teeth, getting dressed, and making sure my son gets to school on time.

Even when I’m traveling or on vacation, workouts get scheduled into my routine, at least a few days a week. I don’t think I’ve gone more than 7 days without a workout in probably close to 20 years.

Sound extreme?

It’s not.

I love it. I feel great. My clothes fit. I’m confident with my shirt off. I’m sharper and more focused when I work. And I get that dopamine hit and feeling of accomplishment every time I finish a workout.

So for those of you who may be struggling to stick to a fitness or health habit… give this a try:

⚡️ 10-Day Challenge: Stack One Habit

Pick one simple habit that moves you closer to your goal.

Then do it every day for the next 10 days, no matter what.

Examples:

→ 20 push-ups before your morning shower
→ A 10-minute walk after lunch
→ No screens 30 minutes before bed
→ High protein with every meal

It doesn’t have to be crazy or intense. The goal here is to build the consistency muscle.

Hit reply and let me know what habit you’re stacking this week.

Make progress a system, not a mood.

Personal Finance Tip of the Week

Some people make great money and still feel stuck.

They’ve crossed the six-figure mark, checked all the traditional boxes of success, but instead of freedom, they feel trapped in a cycle.

It’s the operator’s loop: always busy, always producing, but never truly building.

The issue isn’t a lack of talent or work ethic. It’s identity. They’re still operating like high-paid service providers, not strategic owners.

Owners think in terms of systems, scalability, and leverage, not deliverables, deadlines, and hours.

To truly level up, you have to stop measuring success by how much you can do and start measuring it by how much impact you can create without doing it all yourself.

That next breakthrough won’t come from more hustle… It’ll come from shifting your mindset, protecting your time, and building the infrastructure that frees you to lead, not just work.

Takeaway:

Audit your weekly calendar. Identify one task you do regularly that someone else could take over, and delegate it.

Then use that time to focus on something that builds leverage: hiring, systems, product, or vision.

Leveling up your income starts with leveling up what you spend your time on.

Business Playbook

A lesson on building a business that many need to hear:

Many people chase "work-life balance" like it's the ultimate goal.

But most don't even know what it truly means.

They get stuck in cycles of trying to do just enough of both, work and life, to avoid guilt.

All it does is split their energy and slow their momentum.

The goal isn’t balance.

The goal is alignment.

Seasons of intensity. Seasons of rest. Both done intentionally.

If you want to succeed, there have to be imbalances. So stop trying to find this imaginary line of “balance.”

Build a life where your work and personal growth are integrated, not competing.
