Mindset & Psychology

I ran an experiment and cut my daily work hours by 75%.
The result?
My business grew significantly faster and with less friction.
Here’s how you can do the same in just one week.
But first, let’s be really honest with ourselves… Most people accomplish very little for the hours they’re actually clocked in.
Let’s do a quick experiment. Most of you probably have an iPhone, so grab your phone and go to Settings and then click on Screen Time.
Then, click on “See All App & Website Activity.”
Scroll down, and voila. That’s where all your time is going.
You can toggle between Day and Week views. I like the Week view because it gives you daily averages over the last seven days, and it shows you your most used categories in order from most to least.

The real key to success is deep, focused work. This is impossible to do with constant distractions from texts, emails, Instagram, TikTok, Slack, WhatsApp, and the 1,000 other apps sending you notifications all day, every day.
My experiment left me with the following findings…
1. The 80/20 Rule
80% of your results come from 20% of your effort.
Most of your work is “fake work”: meetings, emails, distractions.
Identify your 20%.
Ask yourself: If I could only work 3 hours today, what’s the highest-impact thing I could do?
Do that first.
Repeat this every day for one week, and watch how much more productive you become, even with less “hours.”
2. Set Ruthless Boundaries
Cut off distractions at the source.
Context-switching kills productivity. Every time you check your phone or email, your focus resets.
Instead, focus on:
No meetings before 11 am. Personally, I am most productive and focused from 6 am to 11 am, so I try and schedule most meetings and non-important tasks for after lunch.
No notifications. It’s a pain having to constantly toggle notifications on and off. The easiest trick - just hit Airplane mode and put your phone face down.
One task at a time. It’s actually quite liberating.
3. Timeblock Like a CEO
Work in deep, focused sprints. People think multitasking helps them get more done, but in reality, multitasking lowers productivity by 40% or more.
Break your day into three 50-minute blocks:
Biggest needle-mover (e.g., closing deals, content creation, etc.).
Operations & execution (e.g., responding to key emails, clients, or partners).
Strategic growth (e.g., learning, high-level planning).
The rest of the day is for fitness, relationships, and big-picture thinking.
4. Automate & Delegate Aggressively
Eliminate low-value tasks.
Think like you’re the CEO, not customer support.
Write out the 5 things you hate doing.
Find a tool or person to handle them.
Never do them again.
5. Cut Meetings by 50% (At Least)
Reduce time-wasting meetings.
Most meetings should be emails.
Ask: Could this be a Loom video (a great tool I use all the time)? If yes, don’t schedule a meeting. If no, make it 15-30 minutes max.
6. Embrace the "Work-Less, Earn-More" Mindset
Success is about decisions made rather than about hours worked.
Your best ideas come when you’re not working.
Replace “hustle” with strategic leverage:
Instead of doing more, hire better.
Instead of working more, charge more.
Instead of grinding, build systems that scale.
Bonus: Try the Challenge for 1 Week
Here’s what happens when you cut your workday to 3 hours:
You focus on what actually matters.
You eliminate unnecessary tasks.
You feel more energized & creative.
Most people are busy, not productive. This challenge forces you to work like a high-performance entrepreneur, not an overworked employee.
Try it for a week.
Then tell me if you get less done or way more.

Health & Fitness + Longevity

There was one key element limiting my progress in the gym.
And it’s not what you would expect.
For years, I thought fitness was all about lifting heavier, training harder, and eating cleaner.
I trained like a machine, but my recovery sucked.
That’s when I realized: Recovery is just as important (if not more important) as training hard.
Things like cold exposure, breath work, and red light therapy have made a huge difference in my recovery. Within weeks, you’ll feel better, perform better, and train harder with less effort.
The future of fitness and wellness is less about training 7 days a week and more about biohacking, longevity, and recovery optimization.

Personal Finance Tip of the Week

Relying on one income stream is the biggest financial risk.
Here’s how to build lasting wealth:
Invest in assets that generate passive income. Then use that passive income to reinvest and compound. Compounding returns are the 8th Wonder of the World!
Build equity in businesses instead of just earning a paycheck.
Diversify income streams so no single loss can cause financial instability.
One stream of income is risk, whether it’s a job or a business. Multiple streams are freedom. Multiple streams plus a diversified portfolio of assets that you continue to add to every month - now that’s peace of mind.

Business Playbook

You don’t need direct access to high-level people to succeed.
The truth is that you can learn everything they know without ever meeting them.
Here’s how you can use silent mentors to accelerate your growth:
Silent mentors are the books, podcasts, and biographies of the world’s most successful people. They let you learn from decades of experience without needing a single introduction.
Billionaires won’t answer your DMs, but most of them have shared their best insights in public.
If you don’t take advantage of that, you’re leaving millions in free advice on the table.
Here’s how I do it:
Read autobiographies to see how greats like Buffett, Musk, or Jobs actually think.
Study interviews and speeches to learn how they solve problems.
Take notes, reflect, and apply their strategies to your own life.
Listen to at least a 30-minute podcast of your favorite entrepreneur 3 times per week. I do it while walking on a treadmill - kills two birds with one stone! I love these ones lately: “How I Built This” which tells the stories of how founders built their companies / Exponential Wisdom with Peter Diamandis teaches about moonshot thinking and an abundance mindset / Diary of a CEO with Steven; fantastic interviews.
